The DISCHER Sluice Sink deliberately foregoes this rim: Five wide-spreading water nozzles flush the entire basin surface evenly with water from the water tank, leaving no dead corners where dirt can accumulate.

It is a dirty water sluice sink, optionally with a rim flush. The rim flush provides additional flushing along the basin rim and increases cleaning convenience.
The back panel is primarily intended for faucet mounting. The splash guard additionally includes side panels and protects the surroundings from splash water during cleaning.
